Olden days, Madras (now Chennai)
Student of the University of Madras, preparing for exams. In order to prevent falling asleep, they would tie their hair to a nail on the wall. Accuracy is questionable, but I got it from here.
Seriously now, why didn’t I try this? I have hair that can be nailed.
