Mind Game

Try this.

Close your eyes. Lie down somewhere. Preferably in a fetal position. Take some time to feel the emotions you have inside yourself — whatever they might be. Happy? Sad? Anger? Bored? Now take some time to feel how it is for you outside — in your body. Do you have a slight headache? Or a big one? Does your arm feel achey? Whatever. Are you cold? Hot? Is there a cool breeze? Feel those sensations. Try not to think — meaning do not let your mind form sentences or words. Do this for a while. Alternate between the two until you have cleared the stark difference of experience in the two.
