Thousands of penn state students riot after a child-rapist protector is fired
With the benefit of hindsight, I wish I had done more. — Joe Paterno
Deep assholes at Penn State riot because some old coward got fired for protecting and covering up for a child rapist. The old coward had told these fools to go study and pray or something, not behave like depraved shit-holes.
For once, the media outrage around a breaking story is apt.
I want to live in a world where no child gets raped (in fact, no rape at all ever). But since I don’t live in that world, I hope it’s at least a place where if someone sees a child being raped, immediate action would be taken. But apparently, no. I don’t live in that world either. In fact, in this world, criminal levels of cowardice and professional self-preservation are considered heroic. For years, a child rapist was not only allowed to keep his job, he was allowed to use university facilities to continue abusing children.
It’s too disgusting to fathom. Unless you count the thousands of Penn State students who marched the streets to fight for a world in which their college football team continues to score. Fuck child abuse victims, we wanna win some football!
Thanks, Penn State students, for fighting for football and reminding us why victims don’t disclose their abuse.
Board member and former player Matt Millen displays decency.
