Nudity
by Kysha n. Brown

they stood
in the midst of
music and emotion
her cheek against
his bare chest
fingers curled up and
over his shoulders

in a rare moment
she had undressed her soul
and exposed her need
but he did not recognize
her nakedness
and wondered why
she only removed her shoes.
